The treasure hunt
Set sail on an adventure through pirate land: land on a desert island, play through cliffs, a pirate village and shipwrecks, cross obstacle courses and bridges and battle a whale. At the end of the journey the pirates’ treasure chests await.
Size: 18 holes. Play as many rounds as you like.
Opening hours
1 May – 1 October. Closed on weekdays except for pre-booked groups (10+).
1 June – 15 August: Saturdays and Sundays 12:00–18:00.
From 1 October: closed.
In bad weather we may close early – call +354 587-4000 to check.

Where is Skemmtigarðurinn?
In Gufunes, Grafarvogur, 112 Reykjavík. From Gullinbrú bridge drive straight for about 1 km – you can't miss the big pirate ship on your left. Drive through the large gate into the park.
Are you open all year?
Yes! We welcome groups all year round, every day from 09:00–23:00 by booking. Mini golf and football golf are open to the public in summer (see the opening hours on each activity page).
What is the minimum group size?
Most activities have a minimum of 6 people. Some activities and packages require 10 people, and kids' birthday parties 15 children. The minimum is listed on each page.
How do I cancel?
Bookings can be cancelled and refunded with three working days' notice. Email info@skemmtigardur.is. See our terms for details.
