What is axe throwing?
We welcome all groups – birthdays, companies, stag and hen parties. We can set up points games, balloons or other challenges – or you can just come and throw!
Our axe throwing range is outdoors, like all our activities.
Since you are throwing axes, you may not be under the influence of alcohol while throwing. Anyone who arrives intoxicated cannot take part and will not be refunded.

Where is Skemmtigarðurinn?
In Gufunes, Grafarvogur, 112 Reykjavík. From Gullinbrú bridge drive straight for about 1 km – you can't miss the big pirate ship on your left. Drive through the large gate into the park.
Are you open all year?
Yes! We welcome groups all year round, every day from 09:00–23:00 by booking. Mini golf and football golf are open to the public in summer (see the opening hours on each activity page).
What is the minimum group size?
Most activities have a minimum of 6 people. Some activities and packages require 10 people, and kids' birthday parties 15 children. The minimum is listed on each page.
How do I cancel?
Bookings can be cancelled and refunded with three working days' notice. Email info@skemmtigardur.is. See our terms for details.
